Making tea from our tea garden is one of our special activities. We bring our basket to the garden and ask the garden fairies if we can take some leaves. Then we thank our lemon balm for giving us the leaves. We come inside and light a candle while we wait for the tea pot to steam and pick the leaves off the stems together. It’s always a magical bonding time.

Ingredients

Fresh lemon balm (about 1 cup)
Approx 8 oz water

Pick your fresh lemon balm.
Remove leaves from stems.
Rinse.
Put in coffee press or tea bag.
Pour hot water over.
Steep 10-15 minutes, longer is better.
You can add honey to sweeten.

Enjoy!
